Economic crisis: Where does Kentucky stand? - Exit polling from the presidential election confirmed the economy was the number one issue on voter's minds. Since the election, headlines have further highlighted the downturn in the U.S. and world economy, but what about Kentucky … what is the state of Kentucky's economy? To attempt to answer this question, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and Louisville Business First are co-sponsoring a roundtable conference call on Monday, Nov. 24, from 3-4 p.m. EST. Register today for Chamber Day 2009 - With the political and economic state of affairs in our country, the upcoming Kentucky General Assembly should be more interesting than ever. Chamber plans expansion to accomodate rapid growth - The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is planning a 70 percent building expansion and renovation that will add 7,000 feet of new space. The expansion will bring together business leaders, international visitors, legislators, and education leaders, and will accomodate the Chamber's growing staff and staff of our partner organizations.
