The 2008 session: An OpEd by Dave Adkisson - The just-completed session of the 2008 General Assembly did not represent Kentucky's finest hour. There is a lot of frustration across the state and a fair amount of finger pointing for the chaotic nature of the session, especially in its closing hours.
Although the legislature held the line on a number of proposals that would have impaired Kentucky's ability to attract and grow jobs, it missed important opportunities for progress in a state that has a lot of ground to cover in education and economic growth. Click here for more. |

Economic Summit and Annual Meeting speakers announced - The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce announces that political pundits Donna Brazile and Tucker Carlson will be the featured keynotes of its third Economic Summit and Annual Meeting, presented by Greenebaum Doll & McDonald, on July 29 at the Louisville Marriott Downtown.
