Government reform expert Maurice McTigue to present at Business Summit

Maurice McTigue has been confirmed to speak on the topic of government modernization at the Business Summit and Annual Meeting. McTigue will discuss the how to produce workable and sustainable changes in the way government conducts business in today’s sharply divided political climate. 

McTigue, QSO, serves as vice president for outreach at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. He is director of the Mercatus Center's Government Accountability Project and a member of its Spending and Budget Initiative and State and Local Policy Project.  A seasoned expert on government reform, McTigue brings practical experience and scholarly research to the table from his distinguished career as a former cabinet minister and member of parliament in his native New Zealand. His presentation will begin at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23
