The 5th Annual Kentucky Energy Management Conference has announced Stanley Meiburg, Acting Deputy Administrator of the U.S. EPA, as the opening keynote speaker for the conference set for Oct. 27 and 28. During his presentation, Meiburg will provide a progress report on the energy and environmental priorities of the Obama Administration and how that progress affects Kentucky. He will discuss the current goals and regulatory initiatives of U.S. EPA and how they are likely to affect energy prices and availability in Kentucky. Meiburg will also address current and potential future rulemaking efforts affecting energy and environmental policy. The presentation will take place at 8:35 a.m. on Oct. 27.
