13th Annual Kentucky Chamber Business Summit and
Annual Meeting Set for July 19-20
LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The 13th Annual Kentucky Chamber Business Summit and Annual Meeting will be on July 19 and 20 at the Omni Hotel Louisville. Kentucky’s state and business leaders will hear from state and national experts on popular topics including Kentucky’s competitiveness and economic growth, opioid addition, immigration, and more.
Thursday, two well-watched Kentuckians, CNN Contributor Scott Jennings and Kentucky Sports Radio host Matt Jones, will discuss Kentucky politics with moderator Jacqueline Pitts. With state legislative elections coming in November and a governor’s race approaching in 2019, excitement is centered around Kentucky politics.
During the Annual Meeting dinner on Thursday evening at6:30p.m., Arthur Brooks, President of Washington-based think tank American Enterprise Institute, will provide the keynote address. Brooks is a New York Times best-selling author of 11 books, his latest being The Conservative Heart. The Business Summit will conclude on Friday with a luncheon keynote interviewing Joe Craft, Kentucky Chamber Chairman and President and CEO of Alliance Coal, as well as husband to U.S. Ambassador to Canada Kelly Craft.
Now in its 13th year, the Business Summit and Annual Meetingprovides an opportunity for business leaders throughout the Commonwealth to discuss issues related to the local, national and international economies.
